Honestly I'm just using this to cross post stuff from tumblr, as I'm considering cutting back a lot of my time spent there.

It's also significantly easier to archive my analysis and fanfiction stuff here so just... expect a lot of that.

Not necessarily going to be strictly Fire Emblem. Expect some ranting about Ace Attorney, Ghost Trick, and probably comics as long as I remember to update this thing.

I know you're a translator who "really knows her stuff" according to BookofHolsety, and are also a Fire Emblem fan. And I'm also doing an LP of FE4. And part of that LP is that I'm analyze what I think of the old patch script vs. BookofHolsety's rough draft, and comparing the pros and cons of each.

So, with that said, you wouldn't mind looking over the sections I send you where I do just that, would you? If you feel like it of course, don't feel obligated or anything, ok? Anyways, thanks for looking at this, have a nice day, and God bless you!

I'm not a translator ^^ I've read a lot of versions of the translated scripts but I can't read straight from the original.

I wouldn't mind reading over sections that are already translated, but I've been helping a little bit by proofreading Project Naga, so I don't know if I'd be entirely unbiased, especially if the translation you're using is the really old pre-Gharnef one.

Hmm...do you know any consistent regular who would be able to read right from the original? And yeah, the patch I'm using is the Reparation Patch, complete with all the "dastards" and "shrinks who have steady work", the "holy hole-punches" and everything.

Personally I always liked the script, and some of the liberties it took, but, that's just me :P !

Also, how long does BookofHolsety usually take to read the comments he gets? I looked over his script for the Narration segment for the Prologue, and thought it suffered from way too much Passive Voice, so I rewrote the whole thing so that it read in the Active Voice instead.

I did that about 11 days ago but...he never got back to me. Is he taking a bit of a break from the project? It's ok if he does, I just want to know before I do any more revisions, you know?

The only person I know for sure is Ammie (who runs fe-according-to-japan over at tumblr) but she doesn't do translations (especially large scale projects) unless she's personally interested in them. She also helped iron out a lot of Project Naga and has a lot of stuff in her DW journal, so you'll probably just get redirected over there.

Otherwise I dunno. I don't really trust a lot of the "translators" in the Jugdral fandom and the ones that I do are (mostly) already connected to Project Naga. The others aren't really into FE4 and probably would have no interest in a project surrounding it, sorry.

Actually, there is one more question I have. Is there any complete documentation or listing of all the translation patches that came out for FE4? I know that on Tumblr, BookofHolsety was checking out some of the old J2E translations, and having moments of hilarity over lines like Sigurd "being served his doom" by Alvis. And that was so funny.

Would you happen to know where I could find those?
