Honestly I'm just using this to cross post stuff from tumblr, as I'm considering cutting back a lot of my time spent there.

It's also significantly easier to archive my analysis and fanfiction stuff here so just... expect a lot of that.

Not necessarily going to be strictly Fire Emblem. Expect some ranting about Ace Attorney, Ghost Trick, and probably comics as long as I remember to update this thing.

- There were Quan, Ethlyn, and Nanna cosplayers this year and I was so happy to see more Jugdral cosplayers!

- Someone thought I was Deirdre when I was Ishtar which as I've been saying is from the same game so I'm counting it as being recognized because that's a hell of a lot better than what I thought I'd get.

- We took a picture of Ishtar dying in Julius's arms during our private shoot and it wasn't even my idea this time heheh

- Midnight Persona shoot was fun but I have so many regrets because I'm so tired

- $6 heels for Ishtar were a mistake and now my feet hurt and they will be hurting for like a week glkarkgkarlg

- All of my Panne armor except for the chest piece (which I had to pin to myself) broke. Armor is hard. I need practice before I can achieve my true cosplay dream: stupid giant Warcraft shoulder pauldrons

- overall things were fun and I found a Soren print and Ghost Trick merch AND cosplayers which I definitely wasn't expecting to see so that was really awesome

- I still have no internet so I have to use my phone for now so sorry for any typos :(

Because honestly there's so much misinformation flying around on either side I decided to take charge and actually read the damn thing myself in order to make a pre-localization judgement.

I tried to be as neutral as possible when reading and honestly I'd like to thank my good friend who's been away from the drama for helping me to sort out stuff because I went in with a super bad bias against the game which isn't helpful to anyone (especially myself).

Please note that as I do not own the game and I cannot read Japanese I do have to work off fan translations. I only read straight up translated scripts and not any support synopses because I found them to be still biased in either direction.

This list may be edited as more information and translations come out.

This is mostly for my own reference but feel free to take a look as well. Obvious warning for major spoilers. Please note that I've been avoiding direct story spoilers when I can, so this is all stuff you find out in supports, but it still contains pretty major spoilers re: character identities.

Today, after literally 8 years of on and off grinding, I finally reached exalted with the Netherwing dragons.

...Look, I procrastinate. It's kind of a thing I do.

The reason I ended up finally getting to it is because I discovered an achievement that requires you get certain dragon mounts (most of which are old and badly textured) in order to get another old and badly textured dragon. My entire goal in World of Warcraft is to collect as many dragons as possible. It's my weakness.

This achievement has, of course, been out since Cataclysm. Timeliness is not my strong point.

But as I turned in my last Netherwing Egg (that I happened to stumble upon and that an orc cursed me out for taking (I'm pretty sure) and went through the long arduous process of riding the world's slowest dragon halfway across Outlands, I realized something.

Unpopular opinion time, probably.

I really like Florina, but the way the script (especially in the supports) handles her is honestly one of my least favorite things about FE7. This is mostly apparent in her two paired endings (aka the FE femslash ship of choice and also probably Hector’s most popular pairing), but I’ll try to tread lightly.

I would like to point out that what I say isn’t hatred about the ships or chemistry, more on how they chose to portray them in game.

So yeah, let’s do this. As always I’m open to counter arguments and analysis.
